I had heard suggestions of applying Isopropyl Alcohol and scrubbing.  I tried this but had no luck.  They were easily removed, a total of 8 screws.  I think tried a baking soda &#038; water paste.  I mixed about 2 parts baking soda with 1 part water to make a paste (a little thinner than toothpaste).  I applied this with finger tips and let set for about 8-10 minutes.  I then used my finger tips and a wet cloth to move the paste around, applying more water to thin the paste out.  After a final rinse and dry they are no longer sticky! This was a good low energy effort to restore these to something pleasant to touch.  <br \/><br \/>This would have been a bit more arduous if I had been unable to remove the bumpers from the sound mixer.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8230;.This was a good low energy effort to restore these to something pleasant to touch.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"powered_cache_disable_cache":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[12],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-191","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-elmering"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/ka9kqh.net\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/191","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/ka9kqh.net\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/ka9kqh.net\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ka9kqh.net\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ka9kqh.net\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=191"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/ka9kqh.net\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/191\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":195,"href":"https:\/\/ka9kqh.net\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/191\/revisions\/195"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/ka9kqh.net\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=191"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ka9kqh.net\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=191"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ka9kqh.net\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=191"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
